Located in Shanghai, The Hall is a retail and cultural space developed in collaboration with Japanese fashion curator Poggy. Conceived as a flexible platform for fashion, art, and events, the project reinterprets the linear organization and changing storefronts of a traditional Japanese shopping street.
A white, immersive entrance framed by vertical display elements leads into a sequence of retail environments defined by custom fixtures, curved openings, and flexible display systems. A restrained palette of concrete, gray stone, and neutral finishes is contrasted by vivid blue elements that extend throughout the space, creating a distinct visual identity while allowing the interior to adapt to changing collections and programming.
Project completed during Victor Lee’s tenure as Senior Designer at Snarkitecture.
